You Are Starting Something New
You have a mission and no exempt status yet. Sponsorship gives you tax-deductible gifts and grant eligibility from day one, while you build toward your own.
Fiscal sponsorship sounds administrative until you see the shape of it. Here is the whole path, what we take on at each point, and what it costs.
Three short steps: what you are building, who is behind it, and how to reach you. You can ask for the readiness assessment at the same time and take it while you wait.
A person reads every application. Expect an answer within two weeks, and a conversation either way.
Your project starts operating under our 501(c)(3). We open your fund, set up the books and the chart of accounts, and take on the filings and the charitable registration.
Donors give to a real 501(c)(3) and get a real receipt. Grant applications open up to you immediately. We receive the funds, track them against your fund, and keep the books current all year.

Sponsorship is a stage rather than a destination, so arriving partway through it is normal. Tell us where you are and what you need next.
Then you do not need a sponsor, and we will say so. The operating system is available on its own, and being sponsored by us is not a condition of using it.
5%
of what you raise, calculated on the gift itself
Donation processing: Free. We ask donors to add a processing and platform contribution, and more than half do. The contribution is the donor’s choice. When a donor declines, we pay the processing, and the project still receives the gift less the sponsorship fee. The full terms, including how contributions are received and controlled, are on the terms page.
We retain an administrative fee on what you raise. There is no charge to apply.
Sponsorship is a stage, not a destination. Every sponsored project gets a mapped path to its own incorporation, and the books, filings, and donor history that path needs are yours from the first day.
