Donation processing is free for fiscally sponsored projects. We ask donors to add a 4% contribution plus processing. If you turn the ask off, you pay 2.5% plus processing. The operating system is priced separately while it is in beta.

Every fee we charge an organization is on this page. Subscription pricing is set once our first organizations are onboarded.

Donation Processing

If we sponsor you

Sponsorship fee, on the gift itself, for donations and for grants you win. We receive the funds, keep legal control of them, and carry the compliance.

Grants you win: Fiscal sponsorship, 5%; of the grant itself

The contribution is the donor’s choice. When a donor declines, we pay the processing, and the project still receives the gift less the sponsorship fee.

The operating system is separate from donation processing. While it is in beta, its pricing is still to be decided. Nothing above changes when it is set.

Questions

Is the fee charged on the processing too?: No. It is calculated on the gift itself rather than on what the card was charged, so the processing a donor covers never increases our fee.
Do you charge us on grants we win?: If we sponsor you, yes, at the same rate, because we receive the grant and administer it. If you hold your own exempt status, no.
How do I start?: A call. We walk the system against how your organization actually runs, and send a written setup plan afterwards whether or not you go ahead.
